Produced by Arthaus and now being distributed by Illuminations in the UK, Eire and Australasia, Art Lives is a powerful and arresting series of documentaries on artists and art movements, released for the first time on DVD in the English language.

These titles are as diverse as they are definitive, with programmes ranging from Titian to Magritte and Baldessari to Warhol. Further documentaries will be released in the coming year, and will include a profile of Eduardo Chillada.

Each Art Lives documentary is both informative and entertaining, with many offering the rare opportunity to see first hand the working methods and creative processes of such important artists.
