A documentary about director Kenneth Branagh and the feature film of The Magic Flute, which is to be released worldwide from December 2006 onwards.

This entertaining observational film by director Fiona Kelly has been made with exceptional access, following Kenneth Branagh as he brings Mozart to the big screen. Branagh's version, scripted by Stephen Fry, translates the sometimes mysterious action and gorgeous music to the trenches of the First World War. It is the story of the director's three-year journey - from the Flanders fields to an international film festival gala in Venice - capturing the highs and lows as he struggles to preserve the integrity of the original music, while still making a great movie.
