Our programmes

Illuminations has an exceptional record of producing television programmes about the arts, history, religion and ideas.

Our documentaries have been acclaimed around the world and honoured with an International Emmy, a BAFTA Award and numerous other prizes. We have also produced a number of major performance programmes, including films of Richard II, Macbeth, and Benjamin Britten's Gloriana.
